The story takes place in Shanghai. The movie opens with Professor Harpreet Kaur – an American who has just landed in Shanghai – being kidnapped. The gang, named ‘Happy,’ includes Bagga, Guddu, and Usmaan Miyaan. As they travel through China, Happy finds herself in the crossfire of an international gang.
In Shanghai, a group of Chinese goons kidnap a horticulture professor, Happy. But he escapes from the kidnappers. In an attempt to free him, the professor finds help from the Indian ambassador, Sardar. Happy is able to join forces with his friends and fellow professors to save his friend. The movie has a lot of heart-warming moments and is definitely worth a watch.
Happy 1 has a similar experience as Happy 2, but she thinks that she is the Happy. However, when she meets Guddu and Happy 2, she finds out that Happy 2 is not the real Happy. After that, Bagga, Usman, and Khushi decide to find Happy 2 and bring him home. In fact, they all become friends again after the events in Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi.
